Yana has what you can’t teach
A love of learning. She’s the perfect package of enthusiasm and smarts, eager to take on any project she gets her hands on.
By high school, Yana was already cutting her teeth as a production intern at Stan Can Design, gaining the sort of experience most wait until after college for. She went on to graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno with both a BFA in Graphic Design and a BS in Mathematics.
Armed with two degrees and a lifelong passion for art, Yana rejoined Stan Can Design as a production designer in 2021. Her past experience at the agency allowed her to jump right back into the fold and lend her keen eye for detail to clients in the SaaS, construction, tourism, and nonprofit sectors.
Amassing a resume like that at such a young age empowered Yana to go the extra miles in her design education – 5,000 of them, to be exact. She currently lends her talents remotely from England while she pursues a Masters in Graphic Design and Art Direction from Manchester Metropolitan University.
The only thing better than Yana’s design? Her cooking. When not whipping up a traditional plate of plov, she’s sketching, reading, enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Travis, and finding the next country to visit (10 and counting).
