UNR 365 LEARNING’S 2020 SUMMER SESSION

Just as in past years, we felt it was our job to create a campaign that makes school feel fun, fresh, and vibrant. Something that makes getting up for 8am summer classes sting a little less (and walking across the stage a semester early feel even better.) The idea of stickers to spread our messaging hit all those notes, so we set out to design and illustrate over 30 stickers to create the campaign.

ARTOWN POSTERS

Since 1996, Stan Can Design has been honored to collaborate with local and regional artists to create the official Artown Poster. From contemporary art to mixed-media sculptures, each year a unique piece of art was created, and a poster was designed to feature the year’s work alongside annual sponsors.

ARTOWN BRAND

Beyond our long-standing collaboration with local artists on Artown’s signature festival poster, we helped the organization tell its story through a unified brand system. Business cards, banners, digital campaigns, and web design all came together to form one cohesive visual language. It’s impossible not to notice when it’s Artown in Reno.

We created a comprehensive Graphic Standards guide for Tolles to ensure consistent, professional brand representation across all platforms. From logo use and color specs to typography and imagery, this guide helps their team maintain clarity and cohesion, reinforcing brand recognition, trust, and long-term value.

DURHAM RANCH JERKY BAGS

Durham Ranch

Logo design, branded house, and packaging design for Durham Ranch’s full line of farm-raised animal products. After establishing themselves as one of America’s largest bison farms, Durham Ranch expanded to include an expansive line of restaurant-grade natural meats and exotic game, culminating in a retail-ready artisan jerky offering.

PRAY FOR SNOW

To spread the word about our Pray for Snow campaign, we designed stickers, vinyl decals, shirts, posters, and community flyers with pull off tabs suggesting various ways one might actually #PrayForSnow.

A collateral and communications package to advertise and celebrate Lisa Congdon’s riveting lecture at the Nevada Museum of Art on her life and career. The package features Lisa’s signature handwriting and artwork.

We missed the old days when Valentines Day meant nothing more than perforated, pun-laden squares of clip art in a brown bag on the back of our chairs. Each member at Stan Can Design™ designed their own cheesy valentine as part of a perforated sheet that was sent out to friends, family, and clients.

DICE ’14: CRAFT

For this annual, multi-displinary design conference, we conceptualized and designed a collateral package with a twist on 2014’s theme: craft. We traced our original digital designs, then scanned our tracings into what became the visual identity of the conference.
