In the spirit of #GivingTuesday, we’re focusing our attention on a client of ours who gives aplenty.
Heart Stones for Humanity is the philanthropic mission of Michelle Klauer. A former gaming industry professional, Michelle’s personal discovery gave her the inspiration to advocate for the fight against human trafficking.
While walking the ocean beaches near Aptos, CA, Michelle collected peculiar heart-shaped stones. One such stone was embedded with a heart-shaped impression from a fossil, which is the mold from which all of Michelle’s jewelry is cast.
Michelle came to us in search of a platform she could sell her jewelry from. We developed her brand identity from the ground up and designed a simple, but effective retail site that lets Michelle display her wares, tell her story, and spread awareness for featured non-profits that fight against human-trafficking. A major portion of Michelle’s proceeds currently benefit Courage Worldwide, Inc.
If there’s someone on your list that’s deserving of a beautiful piece of jewelry that also gives peace of mind, head over to the Heart Stones for Humanity website. Or, if you’re in the Giving Tuesday mood, you can head to the “Advocacy” tab to learn more about Heart Stones’s featured non-profits and contact information to donate to their cause.
