Foundation Design successfully created portraits that say “Let’s get down to business” in friendly confidence. With bold lines, kind eyes, an enthusiastic grin, and disciplined technique, these illustrated team portraits provide a creative approach for branded email signatures.
In the age of digital media and communications email signatures are the single most important touch point for any business. They serve as digital handshakes and a digital business-card. Foundation design asked: how they could also serve as a digital smile. By illustrating our team we were able to create an email signature that’s bold, enthusiastic, and memorable.
Foundation Design first directed their own photoshoot to create portrait photography that could also be used as an illustrated reference. Those images were selected based on each team member’s character and rendered with inspirations from manga pen strokes and realistic facial proportions. The color palette is strictly limited to Foundation Design brand colors which allows the charm of each member to shine in their individual details.
