Queen of Hearts High Tea

The Queen of Hearts High Tea marketing materials play on the whimsical themes of The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland. The visual identity pulled inspiration from Art Nouveau, the Gibson Girl, and a contemporary take on late Victorian Fashion. The Queen of Hearts High Tea is a fundraising event that includes a silent auction, raffles, games, tea, tea sandwiches, and confections. 

The primary objective for this marketing effort was to increase the Queen of Hearts High Tea attendance by at least 30% despite an increase in ticket prices. The secondary objective was to give the event its own visual identity to incentivize club members to promote the event via social media, email marketing, and word-of-mouth marketing with printed collateral pieces. 

To promote the event, a save-the-date postcard was sent directly to other club chapters and handed out to club members to share with friends, family, and business professionals. Marketing efforts were also shared on social media channels and club newsletters. 

The Queen of Heart High Tea ticket sales increased by 47% in comparison to the 2022 event. Additionally, tickets sold out one month prior to the actual event date.  The event also generated a net income of $16,000, all of which will be allocated towards local scholarships for women and female youths.
